What is "design + build" and why is it beneficial?

Most of our Minneapolis kitchen project design + build is an integrated approach where one team handles your project from the initial design concept through to the final construction. How long does a typical remodeling project take?

The timeline for each project varies depending on its scope and complexity. A bathroom remodel might take a few months, while a major kitchen renovation or home addition can take several months. During our initial design and planning phase, we will develop a detailed project schedule so you know exactly what to expect before any construction begins.

What is your design process like?

Our process is a collaborative journey designed to be both thorough and enjoyable. It begins with our Design Phase, where we explore your space, listen to your frustrations and dreams, and establish a budget. We then move into creating detailed plans and renderings. The Build Phase follows, where we handle everything from demolition and framing to the final installation of cabinetry, tile, and lights, ensuring you are informed every step of the way. The final phase is all about Enjoyment, as we ensure every detail is perfect so you can fully enjoy your beautiful new space.

Who will be working in my home?

You will have a dedicated team guiding you through every phase. During the design process, a Project Consultant and a Designer will be with you to shape your vision and plan the details. Once construction begins, a Senior Project Manager and a Project Superintendent will oversee all on-site work, manage the schedule, and ensure our high standards for quality are met. They will be your primary points of contact throughout the build, supported by our team of skilled craftspeople and trusted trade partners.

Budget & Investment

How much does a kitchen or bathroom remodel cost?

The investment for a remodel depends entirely on the size of the space, the complexity of the design, and the materials you select. During our initial consultation, we can discuss your goals and provide a preliminary budget range. After the design is developed, we provide a detailed, fixed-price proposal so you know the exact cost before construction starts.

What is included in your project estimate?

Our proposals are comprehensive. They include all aspects of the project: design services, project management, all labor and materials, permits, and a detailed scope of work. We believe in clarity and ensuring there are no hidden costs.

How are payments structured?

We have a clear payment schedule that is tied to project milestones. Typically, this involves an initial deposit to begin the design phase, followed by scheduled payments as we reach key stages of the construction process. We will review the full payment schedule with you before the project begins.
