The AMEK Design + Build team is proud to participate in the MSP Home Tour, showcasing two thoughtfully designed remodels that reflect how homeowners are choosing to live today.
This self-guided Twin Cities tour offers the opportunity to step inside real homes and experience how thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship can transform both the look and function of a space.
This year’s featured AMEK homes in Richfield and West St. Paul highlight two unique approaches to improving flow, functionality, and everyday living, while staying true to each home’s character.
Whether you’re planning a kitchen remodel, rethinking your main level layout, or simply gathering ideas, these homes offer valuable inspiration.
Members of the AMEK team will be onsite each day to answer questions and share how our collaborative design + build process guides homeowners from initial ideas through final construction.
Featured AMEK Homes
Home 2: Richfield Kitchen Remodel
This 1948 Richfield home was reimagined to better reflect how these homeowners want to live today. By opening up the kitchen and dining areas, the new layout creates a more functional, welcoming space centered around a generous island designed for gathering.
Custom cabinetry, thoughtful storage, and classic finishes elevate both the style and usability of the kitchen, while restored wood floors and arched doorways honor the home’s original character.
Home 10: West St. Paul Main level remodel
This 1977 split-entry home was transformed into a bright, open main level designed for connection and everyday living. By opening walls and incorporating the adjacent 3-season porch, the layout now offers improved flow and increased natural light.
A two-tone kitchen with island seating, custom storage solutions, and warm wood details create a cohesive space that supports both family life and casual entertaining.
At AMEK, every remodel is built around how our clients want to live, whether that means creating better flow for entertaining, adding smart storage for daily routines, or preserving the character of an existing home while updating it for the future.
We’re grateful to these homeowners for opening their homes and allowing others to experience what a thoughtful remodel can achieve.
If you’re considering a remodel, the MSP Home Tour is a great opportunity to gather ideas, ask questions, and see firsthand what’s possible with the right team and process.
We hope to see you there!
